Bekaert's cumulative investment in China has exceeded 1.4 billion euros. Currently, Bekaert has a presence in 9 cities in China (Shenyang, Weihai, Jiangyin, Shanghai, Suzhou, Chongqing, Jining, Qingdao, Hangzhou) with 15 production bases, one research and development/engineering center, two trading companies, and the Asian headquarters.

In 2023, China Bekaert Steel Cord Co., Ltd. was awarded the title of "Jiangsu Province Green Factory" by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.
